[googlefont="Courgette"]Ever tried walking into a packed club with blaring electronic dance music full of young werewolves and their dates? It would be okay. Expect, these werewolves are all half drunk. With the bright neon blues and pinks of the club. You could easily believe you were traveling down the rabbit hole. And, that’s exactly how Isabol felt. Trying to make her way to the club owner to have yet another word with him.
There were few things you didn’t do in Isabol’s world. One, you didn’t play games with her family. Two, never make her repeat herself twice. At least, not when it comes to the safety of her family. Accompanying Isabol tonight was two of her outstanding guards. The Epsilon. Guards highly trained to protect the pack. Right now, they were protecting Isabol and probably soon, other’s from Isabol.
They made their way through the crowded club to the VIP lounge. Where Derek, a annoying, thorn in Isabol’s side was sitting with a pretty, drunk girl that looked to be human, and around nineteen. Isabol narrowed her eye’s at Derek. Going for the stern, you’re on my last nerves look. Derek’s bodyguards tried to stop Isabol from reaching him as she climb the stairs with her pack mates. The Epsilon only had to growl and Derek’s bodyguards retreated.
Finally, making it to Derek. She stood right in front of him for three minutes. Before he even noticed that she had made her way to him. Almost throwing the girl off his lap, in a last ditch attempt to run. Which failed. Derek ducked to the right to dodge past Isabol. Hoping to make it to the stairs. He took two steps, Isabol already had his throat in her left hand. And, squeezed. Just enough to make the male werewolf painfully aware that she had him.
”I’m disappointed. Do you know what happens when I’m disappointed?” She wasn’t even looking at Derek, but the human girl who was on on the floor staring at them. A Epsilon moved by the human and helped her up and gave her a shot of something. By tomorrow morning, the girl wouldn’t remember what happened to her. The Epsilon who had the girl threw her over his shoulder and began his way through the back. Digging in the human’s purse as he walked to get her address in order to take her home. The other Epsilon was standing near Isabol and glaring at anyone who thought they could take him. Derek tried to answer Isabol, but it was difficult with her cutting off his air flow. Isabol in a low growling tone began again, ”We are to keep our masks on. Don’t need the world knowing we’re actually real.” She turned her head to look at him now. Her sapphire blue eye’s seemed to pierce his very being. ”You are going to stop bringing humans in here. You are going to stop attempting to turn them as well. Or, I will have one of my Upsilon’s come visit you while you sleep.” She let go of his throat. Derek moved to sit back down, coughing, and rubbing his throat. He nodded, ”Yes, ma’am. But, you forget. I’m not one of your’s.” Thinking that his comment was cunning. But, when Isabol grabbed his throat again and dragged him to the floor. He rethought his comment. ”It’s because you are not one of mine that I can kill you without a heavy heart. I won’t regret it at all. Keep trying my patience, Derek.” She was lying about not regretting it of course. She hated to see any of her kind killed.
Some of the werewolves around her seemed to be in awe shock. All they saw was this slender, pale girl with red waist length hair. In bootcut blue jeans, black sneakers, wearing a green t-shirt. The crowd that had been around Derek had moved away a bit. Not wanting to be the way of this fierce werewolf leader. Derek didn’t say another word. He just curled up into a half ball on the floor and waited for Isabol to let go again. Annoyed by the situation, she growled again letting go after squeezing Derek’s throat a bit. ”I will not come down here again. This is your last chance. We are to stay hidden.” Her tone was commanding, and Derek nodded, again, coughing, rubbing his throat.
Since, she was here. Isabol decided to add insult to injury. Walking downstairs with her Epsilon behind her. She made her way to the bar. Sat down on a bar stool and told the bartender that Derek said drinks were on him tonight. The bartender looked at Derek from the lounge to make sure it was okay. Derek nodded from afar, and the bartender got Isabol a drink.
